Operating Committee is organizing a series of events for the students

Baku Chess Olympiad Operating Committee (BCOOC) is organizing a series of events for the students of secondary schools. Under this project, a video about the Chess Olympiad, including the information and important facts about the previous Olympiads and the upcoming 42nd Chess Olympiad which will be held in Baku in September is being shown in schools in Azerbaijani and Russian languages. The students are being given the information about the chess development and achievements in Azerbaijan. At the end of the video show, a series of questions and answers is being held between the students and representatives of the Operating Committee.

The project was launched in Nakhchivan. More than 300 students from 7 schools participated in the event.

In the coming days, more presentations will take place for the students of Ganja, Shamkir and Sumgait cities, right after, the schools of Baku will follow.

The main mission of the project is to increase the interest and awareness for the 42nd Chess Olympiad.
