The names of Ambassadors for the 42nd Chess Olympiad were declared

The names of Ambassadors for the 42^nd Chess Olympiad were declared by the Baku Chess Olympiad Operating Committee. The senior producer and director of “Bu shaharda” theatre Mushviq Abbasov, actors Coshqun Rahimov, Rafael Isgandarov are among the Ambassadors.

The celebrity ambassadors thanked the Operating Committee and said that they will try to meet the Organizers’ expectations.

The 42nd Chess Olympiad will start on September 1^st and last until September 14^th. This prestigious competition will take place in Azerbaijan for the first time and will be held in the “Crystal Hall” venue. The 87^th FIDE Congress, organized in parallel to the Olympiad, will also take place in Baku from September 4^th to 14^th in the Fairmont Hotel.
